Meh.
It's only Tuesday of the third week of school and I'm already exhausted. This is not a good sign. I'm taking twenty units at school this semester (17 + GBA Game Project) and working a hell of a lot more because two of the guys I used to work with quit last week. Blah. It's good because I'm going to have more money thus I can do things I want to do (like go to GDC & E3 and go to see my best friend perform in LA whenever he has a performance), but it's also a bad thing because it means I rarely get to leave the school during daylight hours and I have to get up at like 8:30am every damn morning. (So not a good thing when you don't go to sleep until 4/5am every morning.)
On the spiffy side of things, I got to see Underworld (hoorah, hoorah) this weekend, which more than made up for the raging disappointment that was Cabin Fever (which I saw the weekend before). I warn you, do not see Cabin Fever. It sucks a big egg.
Also, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance is way spiffy. The story isn't as fantabulous and wonderfully complicated as the story featured in the original FFT, but what it lacks in story it makes up for in damn fun gameplay. Though the laws thing gets annoying quick, fast, and in one hell of a hurry. And Disgaea: Hour of Darkness rocks my pink Harry Potter socks. Same map-based battle system as FFT only it tends to take everything a step further. The entire game is like one gigantic collection of mini-games, it's fun as all hell and get out.
Oh! And before I forget, I just got my mail yesterday for the first time in like a month and half (long story involving a vandalized mail box, idiot postal employees, incompetant leasing office morons, and a broken lock) and I <3 you in the biggest way. Thank you so much, Connelly, you completely made my week. ^_^
